Overview & Highlights

Nestled in the heart of Chemor, Roti Canai Cik Ayu Prima stands as a beacon of traditional Malaysian cuisine. This charming restaurant, located at 67 Klebang Prima 2, captures the essence of local flavors with a menu that delights and satisfies. With each visit, one finds a cozy atmosphere that invites patrons to relish breakfast favorites like the beloved roti canai and a range of delicious nasi dishes.

One of the standout offerings at Roti Canai Cik Ayu Prima is the classic Roti Canai, a delightful pancake-like flatbread that perfectly pairs with various savory curries. Priced at just MYR 2.20, it embodies the essence of accessibility and taste. Coupled with a rich curry, it's no wonder that customers rave about the experience, as exemplified by Ahmad Faisal, who touted the "outstanding" roti tsunami alongside the delectable curry mee.

If you’re more in the mood for rice, their selection of nasi dishes is equally impressive. The Nasi Lemak, a cherished Malaysian classic, is available in multiple variations—ranging from the basic MYR 4.30 version to the more indulgent MYR 10.80 Nasi Lemak Ayam, replete with fried chicken and spicy sambal. This culinary gem has earned recognition from visitors like Ls Chan, who celebrated the unpretentious yet satisfying breakfast offerings, including the refreshing Teh Tarik to complement your meal.

Another noteworthy mention is the Roti Sardin at MYR 6.50, which combines the wholesome goodness of sardines in a flaky roti, fulfilling any craving for something hearty yet flavorful. Customers appreciate the diverse range of options available, as highlighted by Mohd Zulkifli Hashim, who admired the friendliness of the staff, embodying the warmth of Malaysian hospitality.

Despite some feedback mentioning limited curry options, Roti Canai Cik Ayu Prima continues to thrive as a hidden gem among housing estates, proving that sometimes, simplicity holds the key to exceptional dining experiences. Whether you’re a local or a traveler exploring Ipoh, make sure to stop by Roti Canai Cik Ayu Prima for a taste of authentic Malaysian comfort food that will leave you coming back for more!

Tried roti tsunami, curry mee and nasi lemak. Curry mee and roti tsunami are outstanding.

Paling best adalah keramahan cashier di sini. Pandai berinteraksi. Roti canai memang best tapi pilihan kuah terhad.

Google map is always amazing- this Malay restaurant located within a housing estate is a gem. Simple, unassuming shop serving very good breakfast- wide range of roti canai and very very good Nasi Lemak. Complete the meal with a good old fashioned Teh Tarik and it’s a good start to your Ipoh town.
